Games for Swimming Lessons: Simon Says

Another Of My Games for Swimming Lessons: Simon Says

This is a fairly obvious swimming game but one some may not have thought of. Also, I know that it is good to be reminded of stock standard games for swimming lessons from time to time.

Kids Love Playing Games

Play Simon Says with commands like "bob down", "open eyes (underwater/out of water)", "touch toes", "stand on hands", "touch the bottom of the pool", etc., prefaced by 'Simon Says' of course. Last one remaining is 'Simon'.

Wait... Get Your Lesson Plans Here

Also obvious is that you have to alter the game according to the ability of your students. I only say this so that you will keep it in mind when you make your lesson plan. There is nothing more frustrating than to have your lesson plan ready and find that you have not taken into account the abilities of your swimming student.

Try it its fun.
